Keynote Speaker and New Venue Announced for 2018 Bridges to Better Business Event
On October 11th, the Bridges to Better Business event will take creativity to a new level, with one of North America’s most sought after keynote speakers taking the stage to entertain, engage and educate the local business community. With the backdrop of the historic rail assets of the Elgin County Railway Museum and the return of the incredible local food showcase, this year’s event is sure to surpass expectations.
When innovative companies like Google, 3M, Cisco, Pepsi and Deloitte want to inspire creative thinking in their employees and executives, they bring in David Usher. David doesn’t just talk about creativity and artificial intelligence, he lives it.
Drawing from his unique experience as a multi-platinum, 4-time Juno award winning musician as a solo artist and as the lead singer for the rock band Moist, best-selling author and as the founder of the artificial intelligence creative studio Reimagine AI, David defines the path that companies and institutions can follow to reboot their creativity in this brave new world of disruptive change.
Using examples from inside the disruption of the music business by the digital economy to his experience at the forefront of the artificial intelligence revolution working with companies like Google Brain, David will reveal why now more than ever creativity and innovation is the only way forward and your last, best competitive advantage. In his dynamic presentation, he electrifies audiences and demonstrates that creativity and creative success is a learnable skill that anyone can master.
His interactive keynotes use live music, video, improvisation, technology, and humour to show audiences the steps they can take to jumpstart their creative process in their work and their lives and we truly cannot wait to welcome him to St. Thomas.
The Elgin St. Thomas Small Business Enterprise Centre (SBEC) is a division of the St. Thomas Economic Development Corporation in partnership with Elgin County and the Province of Ontario. The Bridges to Better Business event is intended to encourage networking, recognition, education and collaboration for all members of the local business community. Following in the footsteps of incredible events with past keynotes by David Chilton and Vinh Giang, the expectation is that this year’s event featuring Canadian Icon David Usher will be the largest one yet.
